We control all stages of the production process, from organic farming through processing at our mill, packaging and storage, to marketing.
Acushla’s mill, equipped with high-tech and in compliance with best practices, is the first mill in Portugal certified with FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification), one of the most demanding international standards on food safety, which guarantees the accuracy combined with passion to create a high quality olive oil with real nature taste.
QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY POLICY
To make available to the market products with excellent quality, guaranteeing customer satisfaction by complying with food safety requirements;
Ensure and strengthen the communication between all the members of the Acushla team as well as with the different parties involved in the chain: customers, suppliers, partners and competent authorities;
Periodically evaluate and control dangers and risks related to Food Safety;
To comply with the legal or regulatory requirements applicable to the activity sector;
Promote the continuous training of employees encouraging their involvement in meeting the objectives established by the company, and a food safety culture understood and implemented by all;
Promote the continuous improvement of the company and periodic review of the Food Safety Management System.
